I have finally decided to just do it. I'm ordering my camera next Friday, and it isn't even one of the cameras I had been initially reviewing. I decided on an Olympus E-500 . I figure why spend $800+ on a camera when photography isn't what I do for a living? I'd rather start out near mid-range, then if I get further into photography I'll upgrade. Also, my wifes 35mm film camera is an Olympus and that thing is built like a tank! So don't think I'm going out on the cheap, it is still a $700+ investment, and it is a highly rated camera for the class it's in. For me the biggest selling points were the fact that it accepts BOTH SD and CF cards, also it comes with two good lenses in the kit. Whereas the Canon DR XTi, and the Nikon D80 don't. All I know is that when the shuttle goes up....I'll be taking some great shots.
I decided on a camera......now to buy it!
