Gym Class Heroes………………

OK, so I’m not the biggest “music guy”, actually I am way out of the loop probably. I tend to listen to old stuff, stuff from my younger days, Nirvana, Pharcyde, Mr. Bungle, Primus, any Beastie Boys, Jane’s etc….. as for “newer” stuff, it’s mostly rap for some reason. Young Jeezy, Chamillionaire, Lady Sovereign (no laughing till you’ve heard Love Me or Hate Me…kinda cool), and maybe some Lil John. But somehow, some way, I stumbled across a couple newer bands that I had never heard of that are just freakin cool. The first is Shiny Toy Guns, they are definitely not for everyone and their style is different. I’ve been hooked on their song Le Disko, that song actually appeared on the iTunes front page a few weeks ago. The song for some odd reason reminds me of Ladytron ( yes, I have very unique tastes). The other group is Gym Class Heroes, and the song that is gonna wear out my iPod is Cupid’s Chokehold, that song is way different. It is like some funky Abba disco crossed with the Pharcyde. Weird I know, but give it a shot! To give you an idea of how broad my music tastes are I’m going to end this post with a list of artists that show up on my iPod’s Top25 playlist.** Not in any specific order.**
