OK, here we are on I think week two? of MAC ownership and I have a few complaints about OS X.
1. Maximizing windows. You can't do it easily. The windows for say Finder, they will maximize enough to allow you to see all the contents only, not any empty space. It makes sense to do this, I mean, why look at empty folder space right? But still, I am so used to having my screen filled with a window that to NOT have the option kinda sucks.
2. Fonts. To me a lot of fonts on websites just look different, not worse (and not better) but different. Am I just so used to MS fonts that anything else looks odd?
3. Closing applications. I know, this is another "no big deal" kind of thing, but I miss hitting a button to close an App. I am NOT keyboard-centric (yet) so the task of closing apps completely pisses me off. I don't like having to "Command+Q" an App. Nor do I like having to Close it via the Dock or the Finder bar. One click is all it should take damnitt!
I'll quit complaining. I do love this machine, and am actually looking at selling my custom built (by me of course) PC to fund the purchase of a 24" iMAC.
Anyone wanna buy a PC?
It's the little things ya miss.
