So my buddy asked why I don't use something like LogmeIn to use my Mini when people are watching TV. (My Mac Mini is hooked up to my 42" LCD tv) I told him I didn't care for the lag I knew I'd get by routing my commands over the interweb vs. using a VNC app on my local network. So I downloaded Chicken of the VNC. Then found out it is a client and not a server.....Bummer. So I hit up my secondary brain *See Google* to look for an OS X VNC server. And much to my delight I found that OS X INCLUDES a VNC server built in!!! Below are the setting you need to establish in the SHARING section of your System Preferences on the Mac. Just follow the screen shots below to get started. BTW, as you can see I took the screenshots of my Mini....from my Windows box....Cool eh? Click the images for a larger size.
