3 weeks in...............

So I'm on my third week of many more to come in my degree program. So far so good. But then again I'm only taking a few classes, one of which doesn't even start until this Thursday. Math for business, and Intro to Dbase applications. I have estimated that I'll have my Bachelors of Computer Science in roughly 3 1/2 years. But before I get my Bachelors i'll have an Associates degree, when I get that I'll switch jobs to one that is more applicable to my education path. But the long term plan is to get the Bachelors and get the hell out of Michigan. This state has one of the worst economies in the country, and the future outlook isn't good for the next 6-10 years depending on what economic outlook study you read. My wife and I have both taken an interest in the Pacific northwest, it is a stunningly beautiful part of the country, the job market is insane, and we both see the opportunity for an exciting life changing event in our moving. Wow, this was just going to be a short post about what classes I was enrolled in, and look at it now!
