Wii Wii Wii Wii

Alrighty then, time for a review of the Wii...from Mii!

The Wii system itself is small...very small. It's about the size of a small hard cover book.Maybe a bit thinner. It's got the whole Apple glossy white look goin'. The disc drive is not tray loaded, it is a slot load drive, I always loved slot loading drives. The drive is trimmed with a blue led ring (slick), but the ring only lights up at certain times (bummer). Now...the biggest thing to note is the controllers. It comes with one Wiimote (it looks and feels like a television remote). The Wiimote has a cross pad for directional control, a trigger button, a button easily reached by the thumb(the A button) and a +,- and home button. The buttons are no big deal, but the fact that the Wiimote is motion sensitive is. And it is VERY precise. For instance, when playing bowling in Wii Sports(the included sports package)you must hold the Wiimote up like you would a bowling ball, then swing your arm forward to send the ball down the lane. Now if you put a little twist on your wrist when you swing, it will put spin on the ball! Cool....very cool. Now, this isn't all there is to the Wiimote, it also has rumble in it, you know, it vibrates. It also has a speaker in it. I know that sounds kinda weird, but it is pretty cool, like in bowling, when it is your turn, it will give an audible ding to let you know it's your turn. Sound like they put enough into that controller? There's more. You also get the "nunchuk" attachment. This attaches to the Wiimote, and this has a control stick you move with your thumb, it also has two trigger type buttons, and again, this atachment is motion sensitive! Have a look see, I am just having a hard time describing the coolness of it.

I wonder how many times the remote will accidentally get thrown across the room while playing the bowling game - lol

What you don't see in the picture is that there is a tether attached to the Wiimote, becuase without it, Mason woulda smoked the TV twice already!
