Sometimes I just can’t believe it……

I was sitting at my desk today looking at the pictures of my kids, and it hit me like a ton of bricks, kind of one of those “moments of clarity” things. Those are my boys!, I have created two wonderful human beings, from my flesh and blood (I do have to give my wife half the credit though  ). It’s amazing how much emotion we as people are capable of. But there are emotions that only a select group of people can ever have, and those people are parents. There is nothing more powerful than the love a parent has for their children, nothing can even compare. Hell, I can barely even convey in words how this love is all encompassing. I feel kind of foolish even writing this because I know that there are tens of millions of parents out there who know exactly what I mean, but I feel like telling all those countless others who CHOOSE not to have children that they are missing out on the greatest gift that we are capable of giving…Life. I’m not trying to make a political statement with this post, I know that for some people the need to politicize every aspect of their lives is inescapable, but for me this is more than politics, this is a need to share my love for my kids. So before I get too long winded with this post let say one thing.




I love you Mason and Carter, and thank you for making my life better than I ever knew it could be.
