Yay....and blah........

Yay? Yep, I got the iPod working. What iPod? Well I have a 20 gig fourth gen iPod (not video or color:( ) that was giving me the old exclamation point/folder icon display. After fiddling with it for a day I decided to just crack it open and swap out the old hard drive. As soon as I popped open the case..........POW! It fired right up! All I can figure is that when I popped it open, I freed up a bound button. So now I have 20 gigs of free space to store music! W00T W00T baby!

And now for the blah part of the post, it would appear that the company I work for is doing some MAJOR restructuring of the workforce here. And this is pissing a lot of people off. I'm just fine with the changes, we need them to be competitive in a global market. But I think that the uppers should be up front with the laborers and let them in on what the future of the company holds for them, because right now there is a lot of anxiety on the floor! And now there is a rumor that there is going to be some major anouncement on Friday, but noone knows what this is all about. On a side note....we are "supposed" to get our vacation checks on Friday.......Hmmmmmm. [gulp]
